You will play a critical function delivering high-quality, cost-effective IT infrastructure and information security services to both Western Union and its external business partners. Your tasks will be varied, from coding to testing and analyzing application software. You will work on existing systems and assist the analysts to identify business needs, ultimately recommending appropriate technical solutions and detailing key requirements. You will provide first and second line technical IT support for banking applications and also take part in testing projects aimed at minimizing the impact on revenue of potential system outages.
For this role, you will need experience in application development using Java and Spring framework. Knowledge of microservices with cloud-first and cloud-native experience (preferably on AWS), ELK stack, Cassandra and Kafka is a plus. You will be familiar with container-based services and CI/CD pipelines. Fluent command of English as a working language is essential.
