In this crucial role you will be accountable for IT delivery across a global region for the ecosystem strategy, including a Digital Banking / Wallet, crypto, card products and other financial services. Building and launching new digital banks across jurisdictions, scaling existing businesses and optimizing the digital conversion funnel for customer onboarding across both the MT business and wallet business. In this role, you will be accountable for growing and scaling our existing digital business that includes +9m customer and ~1b of annual revenue through our financial ecosystem strategy.
You will build out the Digital Bank / wallet and crypto IT product for the region. Ensure the money transfer and bill pay business today continues to operate on the new digital platform at the same conversion and transaction level or higher. Build a seamless one click or smooth upgrade journey for money transfer customers to the wallet. Enable a seamless customer journey to upsell / cross sell incremental products to our customers Build out of a roadmap of incremental products to launch after the wallet is available.
You will manage and build out our real time payments solutions and expand new pay-in and payout channels. Coordinate across the Western Union IT teams and development solution integrators (SIs) to strategically build and maintain real time payment networks. Mature the IT operations support for core banking and the charter of accounts globally. As new products get launched, enhance the automation, controls and IT support to cover those new systems and products globally to offer best in class customer service.
You will need 10+ years experience building business critical products and launching in market. Driving alignment across stakeholder groups. Tracking progress and supporting where needed. Facilitating and expediting problem solving. Ensuring delivery of planned results. Experience in building revenue streams through banking products, cards, lending and customer cross selling.

The on-target earnings range is $225,841 – 376,401, which includes a base salary of $161,315-268,858, short-term (20% of base), and long-term (20% of base) incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
